When You Need Hardwood Floor Installation

Cupped boards, winter gaps, squeaks over joists, and edges that lift near a kitchen or entry are the calls we get most. Almost every one traces back to moisture or an uneven subfloor.

Our wet winters and dry summers move wood a lot. Add crawlspaces that stay damp and long joist spans common in 1960s through 1980s Eastside homes, and a rushed install will show problems within the first year.

Our Hardwood Floor Installation Process

We test subfloor and material moisture, then let the wood acclimate in your home until the readings line up. High spots get sanded and low spots get filled so the deck is flat within tolerance.

Solid hardwood is blind-nailed to a wood subfloor. Engineered can be nailed or glued depending on the subfloor and the level of the home. We plan board direction, racking pattern, and expansion gaps at every wall, then finish with matched trim and clean transitions to tile or carpet. Prefinished floors are walkable the same day; site-finished floors need cure time we will schedule with you.

Hardwood Floor Installation Cost in Bellevue

Hardwood pricing depends on the species, plank width, solid versus engineered, subfloor prep, and stairs or transitions. Leveling a wavy subfloor adds labor.

We measure the whole area and quote materials and labor in writing, with waste factored in. No add-ons without your okay.

Why Choose Us

Licensed Washington contractor, L&I registered, bonded, and insured. Quotes are written and include prep work, so the number does not change on install day.

Same-day callbacks, furniture moved and protected, and daily cleanup while we are in your home.

Main floors in Lake Hills, Newport, Somerset, and Bridle Trails are great candidates for solid hardwood. Lower levels in Factoria split-levels and any slab-on-grade area are usually better served by engineered wood or vinyl plank because of moisture from below.

We install throughout Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Mercer Island, Newcastle, Renton, Issaquah, and Sammamish.
